Congress = Unlimted Debt

Did you know that Congress wants to raise the current national debt ceiling Twenty Percent to $14 Trillion Dollars?

Listen closely ... they will get their way, one way or another.

While most of the citizens of this country are either unemployed, struggling to pay their mortgages and/or busy managing their daily expenditures and cutting back on spending ... your elected officials are busy spending more money they don't have and advocating adding a whopping twenty percent to the deficit to finance their runaway spending spree.

And how do they plan to do this?

Right under our noses and despite oposition from Americans from both sides of the isle. The emergency they will create is that they will tell us that the US Government will stop operating if they don't act and raise the deficit. They will also frame it in a way so that if they don't get their way ... "the troops won't have enough money to wage war against terrorism." Sound familiar? Their plan is to pass it right away so that it happens well in advance of Mid-Term Elections during the Fall of 2010 so that we forget the Democrats increased the deficit by $4 Trillion dollars in less than a year. Wow! Thats double the spending during the Bush and Clinton Presidency's combined.

When you and I can't afford to pay our expenses ... we cut back, only spend our available resources on neccessities and many of us struggle with those issues every day. We can't just print more money that we don't have.

So why does Congress continue to spend and not cut back?

Because we continue to let it happen. Democrats (the majority in Congress) continue to spend at an alarming rate. In fact they are spending at a rate of $120 Billion per month. Republicans are at least united in their opposition ... but they can't end the madness as the minority. The Congress and the Senate can do whatever they please ... and they will despite public opinion and against the opposition of Fiscal Conservatives.

What can we do?

In 2010 and 2012 ... if we are still solvent ... CLEAN HOUSE!
ELECT ALL NEW CANDIDATES AND GET THE SCOUNDRELS OUT!
